IT Computer Labs and Podiums (A/V Resources)
IT manages open and teaching computer labs in several buildings on campus. Open computer labs cannot be reserved for teaching classes. They are available to students for general use during hours the building is open. CTLM Common Computer lab is open 24/7 for students with BlasterCard access. A standard operating system configuration and suite of software is installed on all computers across campus. There is specialized software for classes as requested and licensed by departments for specific teaching and learning needs –see https://it.mines.edu/campus-computing-labs/ for a complete list of installed software. Additional software will typically not be installed during the academic semester. See the software request deadlines on the instructional technologies team page for further information.
