We will launch Mines’ new modern single sign-on portal (Okta), my.mines.edu, starting at 6:00 am tomorrow, Saturday, March 18. We anticipate being finished with the transition by 6 pm

During this transition, there will be intermittent access to applications, including email/calendar (Outlook/Office 365), Google, Canvas, TeamDynamix, Famis, and DiggerNet.

What can campus community members expect during the initial go-live?

Once the transition to Okta completes, you will receive an email with a link to my.mines.edu. Logging in to my.mines.edu will follow the same login process you’ve followed when accessing services like Trailhead, Outlook, etc.

  1. Enter your Mines username and click “Next”
  2. Enter your Mines password and click “Verify”
  3. Accept a push notification from DUO Security

For more information about your first login experience – including email and login page screenshots – please check out the new my.mines.edu user guide.

In addition to implementing Okta this weekend, Trailhead will get an upgrade and a new look. You will access the new Trailhead through my.mines.edu. Click here to learn more.

ITS will have staff working over the weekend and extra help this coming week to address any application access issues that may occur. If you need help with access, please enter an ITS ticket or call our Service Desk at 303.384.2345. (xHELP on campus)

I appreciate your understanding as we modernize and secure application access.

Thanks, Andrew
