Dear Mines Team Owner,

According to our records, you have Owner permissions to a Microsoft Teams that was created with the privacy level set to “Public”. In an effort to protect information and keep our data as secure as possible, we are changing all Public Teams to Private.

If you need to share the content stored within your Teams channel or group to specific individuals across the campus community, please ensure that they are added as members. For help adding a member to your Team, please see: Add members to a team in Teams

If any of the files stored within your Public Teams had any personal, FERPA protected data, or restricted information in them, please upload a copy to this secure file transfer site for privacy review. Note: You will need to login with your mines.edu credentials. (https://coloradoschoolofmines.sharefile.com/r-re84d2f01c8114167bd8806f0537ac853)

Please see the Administrative Data Policy for a complete description of confidential and restricted info: https://www.mines.edu/policy-library/administrative-data-policy/
If are unsure if your file should be uploaded, please email privacy@mines.edu and someone will contact you to review the file(s) in question.
