The IT Service Desk serves as the first point of contact for Mines students, faculty, and staff who need help with computers and other technology.

What’s new with the IT Service Desk?
We have shifted the IT Service Desk support and now offer phone and chat to get the support you need. Feel free to give us a call during business hours at 303-278-HELP (4357).
You will find Blaster has been made into a bot to help with chat support. BlasterBot is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer questions and submit help requests. During IT Service Desk hours of operation, BlasterBot also facilitates live chat support.
If you need in-person support, you can stop by the IT Service Desk during our hours of operation.

The Computer Commons is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a Blaster Card.
Satellite Desk
We also have a student-staffed IT desk in the library, located next to the printers on the main floor. The student consultants are available for questions and get IT help as well.

Canvas: 24/7 Support
Mines students and instructors have access to immediate support from Canvas technicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Laptop Kiosks: Located in Brown and the Library
