Ian Hales

Technology Training Program Manager

Background:

Ian Hales is the Technology Training Program Manager at the Colorado School of Mines and a member of the ITCX team. Specializing in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs, he works with faculty, staff, and students to leverage technology effectively for academic and administrative purposes. Ian collaborates closely with stakeholders across campus to enhance the educational experience at Mines. Ian also serves as a member if the DI&A Community Grant Committee as well as the Faculty Adviser for the Mines Esports team. Prior to joining Mines, Ian spent 16 years as a teaching faculty member at CU Boulder, teaching courses on web design, motion graphics, and 3D animation. Ian is a long-time resident of Golden who enjoys gardening, home brewing, model painting, and spending time with his family.
