Accessibility Technologist

Background:

Robin Dean is the Accessibility Technologist in the Information Technology (IT) department at Colorado School of Mines. Her work focuses on removing barriers created by inaccessible technologies and improving access to digital information for students, faculty, and staff with disabilities at Mines. She provides support for accessible course materials, assistive technology, and accessibility testing of websites, software, and documents.

Robin’s previous career experience was in library consortia and academic libraries, where she focused on access and preservation of digital information. Her professional interests include agile project management methods, team and organizational effectiveness, inclusive user experience research, and universal design.
